The Education Destination : Australia The Education Destination 2011
Australia – The Education Destination 41 curtin uniVersity Established in 1984,The McDonald College prides itself on nurturing creative thinkers and confident communicators. Our Alumni list certainly testifies to this. Our graduates have a lateral view of life beyond their graduation. For some, this has included being on the stages of Broadway, starring in feature films, or pursuing careers in the medical and law professions. Other graduates have succeeded in careers such as international aviation, veterinary science, and corporate law. The possibilities are endless just like the imagination and global success of our students. From Pre-school to Year 12, we balance academic excellence with performing arts specialist training. Our College prides itself on having a supportive community environment that encourages individuality amongst our students. A Creative and Engaging Approach to Education The balanced curriculum our College offers provides a range of subject choices so that our students are best equipped for life after secondary school. This may include avenues such as continuing on with further tertiary education, entering the performing arts profession, or entering directly into their chosen career path. With an innovative and high-quality approach to education, we produce skilled and confident graduates who are the future leaders in their chosen profession or field of endeavour. Striving for Excellence The McDonald College offers a breadth of cross training for all students by encouraging them to “strive for excellence” in both the academic and performing arts arenas. This has been achieved by integrating the values of the College – Appreciation, Honour, Humility and Passion & Commitment – into the curriculum and our Student Pastoral Care Program. Teaching Faculty The McDonald College employs highly qualified and experienced academic and performing arts staff. Our staff encourage students to strive for their personal best in all that they undertake.
